The Classroom as a Workplace campaign is an opportunity to switch the focus from student-centered tech and focus on treating teachers like employees who need modern tech. In this campaign, we will remind administrators and other IT decision-makers that teachers need modern technology to do their jobs efficiently. According to the “Technology Cultivates K–12 Success” report, some schools are overdue for an upgrade in teacher tech and this may be a factor in some teachers’ decision to leave their districts. Our campaign will cover the employee retention benefits of modern tech, tech tools that help teachers perform better, and share general information about the importance of upgrading legacy technology frequently found in classrooms.

With the campaign promoting a shift from student-centered tech to teacher center tech paired with the promotion of new modernized tech vs older practices we want our design assets to be built around the same concept emphasizing shifts in focus/differing focal points.
These shifts in focus/focal points will be represented through illustration and emphasized through color and spatial elements. Assets will feature scenes with clear focal points illustrated in a bright range of color, emphasized with concentric circular elements (or other spatial distinguishing elements), and contrasted by their surroundings being illustrated in less detail and with muted monochromatic color palettes. These particular tactics of color contrast and spatial elements will be repeated throughout all assets to maintain cohesiveness.
